Destruction of Plato’s Atlantis by “Hydroplate” Eruptions

A raised mid-Atlantic Ridge is hypothesized to be the home of the lost Atlantis civilization. Due to the sudden opening of the tectonic-plate rifts when partial pole shift occurred – supercritical, mineral-filled water explosively ejected into the atmosphere, both burying and sinking the once thriving culture. Plato actually estimated its destruction close to 9500 BC, the time of the Younger Dryas period.
