Asphyxiation and Burial of Siberian Mammoths
The asphyxiation and burial of megafauna in Siberia is caused by high-density, falling, frozen muck generated by subterranean dissolved minerals and high-pressure supercritical water jettisoned from hydro-plates under the Arctic Ocean into the upper frigid polar atmosphere. This event would set the future for a permanent tundra climate and permafrost for Siberia, which was previously a temperate grassland for fauna of all sizes.
